आपण जैन हिल्स् वर उभी केलेली, कृषि-सृष्टी पाहून आम्ही अक्षरशः थक्क झालो. एक माणूस आपल्या दूरदृष्टीने एक स्वप्न पाहतो आणि ते पुर करण्याकरिता मोठ्या जिद्दीने आणि कष्टपूर्वक प्रयत्न करतो व शेवटी स्वतःच्या ह्यातीतच ते पूर्ण करतो ही एक अविश्‍वसनीय गोष्ट वाटतो. संपत्तीची अगर ज्ञानाची कोणतीही पूर्वपरंपरा किंवा पाटबळ नसतांना तरूण वयांत एवढे मोठे स्वप्न पाहणे ही गोष्ट मुळातच अपूर्व आहे. अशाच माणसाला दृष्टा म्हणतात. स्वप्नें पाहणारे अनेक असतात. त्यांनी बहुतेक दिवास्वप्नंच पाहत असतात. त्यांची स्वप्ने कितीही भव्य असली तरी त्यांना कोणी दृष्टा म्हणत नाहीत. पुढे कालांतराने जे घडणार आहे ते ज्याला दिसते आणि जाणवते त्यालाच दृष्टा (तळीळेपरीू) म्हणतात. भवरलाल नावाची व्यक्ती, खेड्यांत जन्मलेली आणि उद्योगाची कोणतीही पार्श्‍वभूमी नसलेली अशी असतांना तिच्यांतील दृष्टेपण तिला स्वस्थ बसू देत नाही. त्यांतच तिची ग्रामीण क्षेत्र व शेती यांच्याशी जोडलेली नाळ तूटत नाही. हे सर्वच विलक्षण आहे. मोठी सरकारी नोकरी प्राप्त झाली असतांना ती धुडकावुन ही व्यक्ति एक लहानसा आणि इतरांचे दृष्टीने क्षुद्र वाटणारा व्यवसाय सुरू करते आणि पाहतां पाहतां अल्प कालावधीत एक मोठा उद्योग उभारते आणि त्यानाही आपले पाय जमिनीवर घट्ट रोवून उभी राहते हा इतिहास अनेकांना प्रेरणा देणारा ठरेल.
भवरलाल, मी हे सर्व माझ्या जळगांव भेटीत पाहीले आणि अनुभवले. आपल्या वाटचालीत आपणा समोर अनंत अडचणी व संकटे उभी राहीली. त्यातील कांही अजूनही चालू आहेत. तरी देखील आपली आपल्या भूमीशी असलेली निष्ठी अविचल राहिली आहे. आपण अनेकांना त्यांच्या जीवनांत उभे केलेत, उद्योजकांना मदत आणि मार्गदर्शन केलेत, आपल्या भागांतील शेतकर्‍यांना शेती कशी करावी याची दृष्टी दिलीत व त्याकरिता सढळ हाताने मदत केलीत आपल्या सुहृदांचे प्रेम व लोभ कायम ठेवलात, ज्यांनी ज्यांनी म्हणून अगदी लहानशी सुध्दा आपली मदत केली त्यांच्याविषयी निःसीम कृतज्ञता दाखविलीत, आपल्या कुटुंबाचे सर्व प्रकारे आणि खर्‍या अर्थाने मित्र, तत्वज्ञ, व मार्गदर्शक राहिलात असे आपले गुण किती आठवावेत याला सिमा नाही. |
